Sometimes Sony can blow a lot of smoke up our butts.
Don’t get me wrong, every company has it’s flaws, but when I was told I was going to have to fork over $150 to fix a problem that I felt should not have happened in the first place..
well, let’s just say I shared a few choice words with the customer service rep who broke the news to me.
For weeks I thought I was going to have to chalk up the lose and sell parts of the PS3 to get a brand new one, until I came across the PS3 Lights Fix guide.
In hindsight, I felt kind of bad that I gave off a few explicit words to the rep on the other line, he was just doing his job and there was nothing he could do to change the rules (in fact, he told me that if he could he would fix the problem for free).
But it doesn’t change the fact that you and I should stand up to Sony and their strong arm tactics to force us to re-buy a machine that should have been built to last at LEAST 4 years.
Anyways, I followed the step-by-step PS3 Lights Fix to the “T” and…I was surprised at how easy it was to fix my yellow light error problem.
Why was I surprised? Because I’m one of the least tech savvy people I know. If you asked me to figure out how to turn on a Ipod, I would tell you to find someone else. Seriously.
The only negative thing I can think of about this guide is that it can take up to a full hour to repair a broke PS3 back to life.
