my ps3 slim gets covered in a thin layer of dust?
i have a ps3 slim, and no matter how much i clean it, every couple days, another layer of dust forms on the system. how can i prevent the dust from getting into the system? and if it does, would my ps3 break? i heard that covering it with a shirt or something like that would help.
Well first of all, the PS3 is a dust magnet. Its supposed to collect dust.
The idea about covering the PS3 is to prevent dust buildup when the console is not in use. You definitely should not be covering the PS3 during use or even directly after use (let it cool down first). Dust should not be accumulating that much when you’re using the console. Its when you AREN’T using the console that dust can really build up, so covering it can help.
To prevent dust from getting into the system, vacuum the dust on the vents if it starts to build up.
